  Barron Games staff joined together by its international division Gametrade Group, largest distributor of amusement games in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries came together with customers, distributors, media, and manufacturer representatives in Orlando, FL November 16th, 2011 to celebrate the success of our companies.

• EAG Expo

  Barron Games International headed across the Atlantic to London, England, January 25th - 27th for the EAG Expo at the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre. They joined Sega at their booth to help promote the new Sonic All Stars QUAD Air. The reception of the new concept air hockey table was overwhelming. Attendees said with excitement that this product was the best and most innovative product they had seen at the show and look forward to having it for sale on the European and North American market.

• Sega's iconic mascot Sonic the Hedgehog will make his first-ever appearance at the EAG Expo in London next week in anticipation of his 20th birthday celebrations later in the year

  Sonic will be on hand to welcome guests to the Sega stand and help promote the new range of Sonic All-stars games being shown at the exhibition, which includes Sonic Ticket All-stars ticket redemption game and Sonic & Sega All-stars Racing video game, both on show for the first time, as well as Sonic Quad Air introduced at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Florida and the Sonic Sports range which includes basketball and air hockey introduced last year.

  But it doesn't stop there; visitors to Sega's stand will also get the opportunity to test their racing skills in head-to-head competition against a surprise guest…

• Barron Games' QUAD AIR is the most "buzzed" about new game at IAAPA 2010 in Orlando, FL!

  "Spending almost the entire IAAPA Show in the Comfyland Booth was a new experience for me. It seemed like literally a few hundred of my friends and colleagues stopped by to keep me posted on what they saw that they liked or disliked. This gave me an opportunity to go see those booths early every morning before the Exhibit Hall opened. It is a different way to see a Show, but proved to be very efficient. My partner, Joe Camarota, was able to walk the show floor as he always does and go through every game and rank them. Comparing our lists was interesting. Obviously he found a couple of games that I missed and I found a few FEC attractions that he missed.

  "The 'buzz' centered around: 1) Quad Air/Pirate King (Barron Games) - a new 4-player square air hockey table, 2) Trio-Tech's XD Theater 4-Seater, 3) Magazine Me photo booth from Apple Industries, 4) Ropes Courses Inc. - multiple models of rope courses, and 5) Touch FX system by Adrenaline Amusements.

  "AEM continues to test the following games (those that did not earn well have been deleted from the test program): Acorn Drop (Family Fun), Kaboom (Global VR), Pull My Finger (Bay-Tek), and Space Ballz (Jennison Entertainment).   "Videmption - Blasting onto the IAAPA Show Floor! The 91st International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA)proved an eclectic mix of all the best in amusement, attractions and venue entertainment. Added to this mix is the rebirth of what would have been previously known as Midway attractions, but has evolved into Redemption, and now spawned a growing genre - Video Redemption. The nickname 'Videmption' has been coined by observers of the growing trend to describe a wide selection of new releases that populated the show floor. In no particular order, the latest new developments are listed below. [Kevin and Adam Pratt from Arcade Heroes are credited for coming up with the term 'Videmption'.] Hit Hit Amazon (Barron Games) - a mixture of hammer action with on screen animation. • Barron Games attends the Brady Open House in Memphis, TN

  Barron Games traveled to Memphis Tennessee on October 27th, 2010 to attend the Brady Distributing Company’s Open House. At this show Barron Games featured one of their most popular children’s Air Hockey tables the Magic World Mini Mushroom. We would like to say thank you to everyone at Brady for hosting and also for inviting us to the Brady Open House in Memphis. It was a great turn out and we look forward to being a part of your shows in the future. We would also like to say a special thank you to the folks at Incredible Pizza. • Introducing the striking new Bolt

  The Bolt is the next generation of redemption air hockey tables. This table is lighter and more durable with a completely upgraded playing experience. Has a sleek fluorescent yellow powder coat finish, blue LED lights along puck release as well as chasing blue LED lights along playfield. Also includes side sound sensors, a scratch-free polycarbonate playfield, and lockable cash boxes with single key entry. Accessories include 10 pucks, 4 high quality rubber gripped mallets and polish spray.

• Introducing the Jungle Hoki Baby

  The Jungle Hoki Baby is an adorable new version of our original Hoki Baby. This table includes all of the same safety features such as 2 large side panels to protect fingers from being placed on the air hockey table, and a center safe guard to eliminate puck deflection. Charming jungle animals and a congratulating exclamation "Bravo!" make this table unique and appealing to toddlers and small children.

• Betson Western NY Trailer Show

  Barron Games hit the road with Betson at trailer shows in both Rochester and Buffalo.   Barron Games is proud to announce a new member of their team. Kelly McKee will be working with the company in domestic sales. She has over 10 years of experience in sales and customer service.   Gregory Bacorn and Anna Zykina were married July 17, 2010 in Ithaca, NY. A few familiar and prominent faces in the amusement games industry attended the wedding to celebrate this important event with their family and friends, including Andrey Zukin, Yaroslav Sobko, and Adrian Drewitz.

  

• Barron Games mentioned in Playmeter's e-newsletter

  We've been mentioned in Playmeter's July 7 e-newsletter. "Products from Barron Games International, manufacturer of air hockey tables, kiddie rides, redemption games, and walking animals, were featured in the third episode of the new TV game show, "Downfall," which aired July 6. The weekly series began June 22 and appears each Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. The show puts contestants on the top of a 10-story building to see who has the focus and fearlessness to avoid their "downfall" over the edge. In the process, they may win cash or prizes. Episode six will feature fabricated facsimiles of all prizes placed on a conveyor belt. In each round, players will try to answer trivia questions to keep cash and prizes from going over the edge of the roof."

• FEEL Expo

  Barron Games will be exhibiting at the Latin American Entertainment Trade Show (FEEL EXPO) in the International Business and Exhibition Center CORFERIAS, booth 41 in Bogota, Colombia. • Update: "The Redemption Report"

  The Challenger Neon Air Hockey table (in redemption mode) is still out-earning the other 2 Hot Flash IIs. Note that the Challenger is priced at 75 cents/play (on redemption) and the Hot Flash IIs are set at 50 cents/play. The next part of the test will be to reduce the Challenger price to 50 cents and see what happens. What has remained true is that there is a group that likes the Challenger better and a group that still likes to play the Hot Flash II.

  Barron Games will be attending the Fun Expo hosted by AMOA , AAMA and IAAPA. An Exhibition and Educational Event for the Family Entertainment Center Industry. Show dates are March 10 -12, 2010 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our booth is 840. We will be showcasing the new Hit Hit Amazon, Fantasy Coffee Cups and the 2 player Genesis Air Hockey Table.

• Hot from "The Redemption Report"

  Barron Games International has an air hockey table, the Challenger Neon, that is set up to award redemption tickets. Program options include awarding tickets to just the Winner, or more tickets to the Winner and fewer tickets to Loser. AEM is currently testing the Barron Games unit up against two Hot Flash II air hockey's. This site was chosen because AEM has the data on 3 Hot Flash air hockey's in this same location going back more than a year (one was removed for this test). AEM has reported that the Barron Games 'Challenger Neon Air Hockey' earned $513.25/week up against $252.00 and $264.25 for the Hot Flash II air hockey's. AEM is still working on making some modifications to get the ticket payout % to 20% and will have more data in next month's TRR. So far this test is very encouraging. Over a six week period (Nov/Dec) the 'Challenger Neon Air Hockey' has earned an average of 60% higher revenues than the average of the two (2) Hot Flash Air Hockey games. — Frank Seninsky, The Redemption Report
